The Subtramas research has so far generated- among other productions- a documentary video-essay reflecting on a set of practical-theoretical experiments that explore the collaborative approach to the creation of audiovisual narratives. Through an interlacing of voices, images and multilayered subplots whereby art, participatory democracy, education and everyday life intersect in a hybrid territory, three open-ended lines of inquiry are combined in the film: the construction of new imaginaries, experiments on participatory reception, and a pedagogy of collective images.
